Welcome to Katyville! My name is Jane E. Davis and I am the Chief Administrative Officer for Katyville Healthcare Center. I was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa but have lived in such places as Cheyenne, Wyoming; Prairie du Chein, Wisconsin; La Crescent, Minnesota; Coquitlam BC Canada; Bellingham, Washington; Des Moines, Iowa; Lynden Washington; Yakima, Washington; Edmonds, Washington and now I am happy to be in Katy, Texas. I have been happily married to Max Davis for 24 years and am blessed with two sons. Cory Jason is 22 years old and Christopher Lee is 18 years old. The boys have followed mom and dad to Texas. I have two Bichon Frise that I absolutely adore. Sebastian is 4 years old and Maggie Sue is 1 year old. I also have an eighteen year old cat named Zelda. She is old and crabby, but we still love her. My education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration, a Masters of Arts in Organizational Management and I am certified as a nursing home administrator. I did not graduate from either college until after turning 40. My previous careers include being self employed in the manufactured housing and recreational vehicle business, a national government affairs director for assisted living and administrator in assisted living. I love to read, garden, snow ski and decorate my home. My love for the elderly really came from my mother who was a CNA in nursing homes for most of her life. She was dedicated to her residents and truly showed me what love meant. Thank you for selecting Katyville Healthcare as your home.
Long Term Care has always been my love and passion. Serving the geriatric arena over (30) years as a nursing assistant, LVN, and RN has provided me with a true respect and affection for the aging client as well as enriching my life with the many experiences I have encountered. The insight provided from the grandparents I have served for these many years provided me the necessary skills and patience for raising eight children while balancing my career. For pleasure I enjoy gardening, reading, camping and fishing, and especially enjoy a cup of coffee while observing the sunrise after a night of camping on the beach. A heartfelt thank you is given to the families who have entrusted to me the care of their special family members these many years- they have richly blessed me and taught me many valuable lessons in life.
My name is Loretta Goggins and I am the ADON @ Katyville Healthcare Center. I received my nursing degree from Northern Illinois University in 1979. Since that time I have worked in a variety of settings including hospital, home health, nursing home, school nursing and geriatriic care management. As geriatrics has always been my passion, I am grateful to be part of the team here @ Katyville. My husband Bill and I have been married for 27 years. We have been blessed with three beautiful daughters ages 9, 12 and 18. One of our favorite family activities is camping and we enjoy the outdoors whenever we can. As comes with parenthood, we support our girls activities-mainly swimming and FFA. I also like to go to church, fish, read, watch movies and last but not least spend time with family and friends.
A New Orleanian for many years, I found myself in 1995 on I-10 with my wife running from Hurricane Katrina. With only what I could fit into one car, including two Chihuahuas, we decided to relocate to Houston and then Katy, TX. With God's blessing and ability to make good out of a bad situation, I landed at Katyville where I would continue my career as an Occupational therapist and Rehab Manager. Many people have told me that I look like a teacher and they would be right. My first career was that of a High School Band Director for 6 years. Vanessa Rodriguez Director of Culinary Services Hi, my name is Vanessa Rodriguez and I come to Katyville Healthcare Center with 7 years experience as a dietary manager and pride myself in allowing residents to enjoy there food, and do my very best to cater to everyone’s individual likes and dislikes. A native Texan myself, growing up on San Antonio I was able to learn and appreciate worldly cuisine and different taste as well as cultural favorites. I was very active in my high school marching band and had the opportunity to master several woodwind instruments such as the flute, clarinet and trumpet. My love for music and family has allowed me to instill that into my children. I have 2 beautiful boys ages, 10 and 3 who definitely keep me busy and always reinventing new foods and presentation to keep them eating healthy. In my off time I spend time with my children, and find myself visiting San Antonio to see my family as often as I can. I believe that all my residents are a part of my family, and it is a tradition that food and enjoying each others company is a part of that. Please let me know if there is anything I can do, to make you or your family member enjoy your stay at Katyville Healthcare Center. We now offer catered parties for you and your loved ones, please contact me for more information.
I have lived in the Houston area since 1976. My nursing home career began in 1968. I attended a 6 month nurse aide training program at Holy Cross Hospital in Austin, Texas and worked after the completion of the program. I then worked at Bastrop Memorial Hospital as a nurse aide before moving to Ft. Worth, Texas and worked there at Mountainview Nursing Home and on to John Peter Smith Hospital for 4 ½ years as a nursing assistant in the emergency room. In Houston, I began my college career at Texas Southern University earning a Bachelor of Arts in social work and licensure. After a 2 ½ year teaching stint in Ft. Bend ISD I returned to longterm care with several different facilities since 1996 while completing 2 Master of Arts in Sociology and Counseling degrees at Prairie View A&M University. In 2006 I returned to the classroom for training in the long-term care administration program at San Jacinto College with successful completion and licensure as nursing home administrator. I am appreciative of the offer to join the staff of Katyville Healthcare and look forward to a long career with the staff and residents. I am the mother of 4; grandmother of 12; and great grandmother of 2.
